Peter Stacey

Managing Director
Peter is a Principal Air Quality Consultant with over 20 years’ experience and specialist knowledge in the field of Air Quality. He began his career as an Air Quality Scientist measuring emissions from industrial processes. This role later developed to include the commissioning, calibration and servicing of ambient monitoring equipment.
Peter has a combined background, in technical roles and the last ten years in a consultancy role. His consultancy experience has included project management, atmospheric dispersion modelling, environmental effects assessments (AEE), hazardous release modelling, odour treatment system design, landfill gas, workplace exposure assessments and odour monitoring. Peter has also been involved in assessing applications for regulators and has been called upon to provide expert evidence at the Environment Court and as part of the Council resource consent hearing process.
Peter has been accredited by the Clean Air Society of Australia and New Zealand (CASANZ) as a Certified Air Quality Professional (CAQP).
Jonathan Harland
Air Quality Consultant
Jonathan is a Senior Air Quality Consultant with over 18 years of experience and a comprehensive background in air quality science and management. He began his career as an Air Quality Scientist, where he measured emissions from industrial processes, collected and analysed odour samples, and eventually took on responsibilities for commissioning, calibrating, and servicing ambient monitoring equipment.
For the past eight years, Jonathan has worked in consultancy, focusing on areas such as atmospheric dispersion modelling, environmental effects assessments (AEE), designing and implementing ambient quality monitoring programmes, landfill gas and odour monitoring. His work often involves supporting regulatory applications and providing expert evidence at Council resource consent hearings.
Jonathan is accredited by the Clean Air Society of Australia and New Zealand (CASANZ) as a Certified Air Quality Professional (CAQP).
Chris Bender
Air Quality Consultant
Chris is an experienced environmental scientist with over 25 years of expertise in air quality, both in New Zealand and internationally. His experience spans emissions and ambient air monitoring, dispersion modelling, and preparing resource consent applications for a wide range of industries. For the past 14 years, Chris has focused on environmental consultancy within New Zealand, conducting comprehensive air quality assessments for industrial and infrastructure developments.
Chris is accredited by the Clean Air Society of Australia and New Zealand (CASANZ) as a Certified Air Quality Professional (CAQP).
Cheng Yii Sim
Air Quality Consultant
Cheng Yii Sim is an Air Quality Consultant with 8 years of experience across New Zealand and Australia. She specialises in atmospheric dispersion modelling, odour and dust assessments, ambient air quality monitoring, and air quality impact assessments to support environmental and planning approvals.
Cheng Yii has worked across a diverse range of sectors including intensive livestock farming, wastewater treatment, manufacturing, mining and quarries, ports, landfills, and infrastructure projects.
She is accredited by the Clean Air Society of Australia and New Zealand (CASANZ) as a Certified Air Quality Professional (CAQP).
